Description Flame-Retardant Varnish Matt – Water Based. Suitable for the finishing and protection of interior and exterior surfaces such as windows, doors, beams, trusses and ceilings. High protection to standard UNE-EN 13501-1 classified as Bs 1, d 0 Flame retardant. Repels water. Resistant to weather and solar radiation. Decorates and enhances the natural beauty of wood. Matt Finish Available in sizes: 750ml & 4lt Thinner – Water T. Drying – 30-60min T. Repainted – 4-8hours Performance – 11-14m2/L Surface preparation: Surfaces should be clean, dry and consistent. On unprotected surfaces: Clean, sand and remove dust, grease, oil, waxes and small imperfections. Apply your preferred colour stain first. To stain new timber or wood or to increase resistance to the outside, apply successive layers of your water based stain of the chosen color until you achieve the desired shade and finish with two coats of the FIREPROOF VARNISH. Before applying: Application temperature: Higher than 8ºC. Support temperature: Above 8ºC. Ambient relative humidity: Less than 80%. Stand Humidity: Less than 20% How to use: Remove the contents of the container well. Apply with good air movement, in thin, uniform and well-extended layers. Brush or Roller: Apply 1st coat thinned with Water 5-10%. and the 2nd and 3rd coat use or thin maximum 5%. Sand gently between coats.
